Description:

General Summary:

This position contributes to the success of the Pepsi Beverages Company by directing the production team to meet customer needs and achieve standards related to cost, line efficiencies, waste, safety and productivity. This individual must set production performance standards and align the organization to achieve standards. This individual is responsible for managing the XX shift; union and/or non-union employees.


Major Tasks, Key Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities:

  • Analyze plant production quantities and input in the NIS (National Inventory System)
  • Reconcile full goods inventory for the warehouse
  • Analyze daily, weekly, and period end inventory counts and generate period end reports
  • Troubleshoot inventory variances as required
  • Enter bills of lading, purchases and transfers
  • Reconcile production and control production paper flow
  • Weekly balancing of transfers in/out of other facilities
  • Reconcile invoices for quarter
  • Manage the day to day inventory process for both finished goods and raw materials in compliance with all Sarbanes Oxley requirements
  • Maintain all documentation per our document retention policy
  • Perform objective setting and performance appraisals for direct report
  • Manage at risk and product rotation
  • Perform all period close and period audit accountabilities




Basic Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent work experience
  • Previous work experience in a high speed manufacturing environment
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings and/or weekends


Preferred Job Qualifications:

  • Experience in consumer packaged products or related industry
