Job Details

Purpose / Role Mission: **Develop local market access strategies for innovative business focused on rare Diseases, Inflamation, Inmunology & Internal Medicine portfolio, working closely with country cross-functional team and Regional Market Access Team.**

Key Accountabilities

+ Develop and implement local access strategies focused on business priorities

+ Drive execution of access strategies managing the Access Liaison field role under her/his responsibility

+ Ensure an excellent level of expertise on local access legislation and local competitive intelligence (competitor pricing and market access)

+ Develop a cross-functionally integrated local market annual access plan, across all payer channels, that consider global deliverables and local requirements and payer dynamics to address access issues.

+ Understand payers (national and sub-national, as applicable) requirements and priorities, and provide input into global strategy through local payer insights.

+ Develop reimbursement dossiers (where applicable) and follow up on pending processes..

+ Coordinate with local HEOR to review adequacy of global innovative models to meet local customer needs.

+ Coordinate with commercial KAMs to support inclusion of Pfizer assets in formularies and implement access models.

+ Quantification & impact analysis on P&L of policy, regulation or local healthcare system environment.

+ Maintenance of data base of competitive intelligence for pricing and market access of key competitors

Key responsibilities include:

+ Develop and implement commercial access strategy at a national level for innovative products (PIH Business).

+ Work closely with Pricing Manager to develop pricing and monitor pricing strategy.

+ Adapt global value dossier (GVD) and build on their basis as well as on the basis of local clinical data internal and external documentation, materials and dossier for local inclusion & reimbursement.

+ Set up & develop relations with key stakeholders.

+ Follow up the legislative & environmental changes going on; create, align and implement market access strategies in line with the new developments to create new opportunities or to protect access to treatments.

+ Analyze access drivers and potential to inform product and business development decisions.

+ Assessment of the adequacy of global deliverables and tools to local payer needs.

+ Preparation of local access deliverables. (e.g. Reimbursement materials).

+ Build the Payer Value Proposition/Key messages for products both in development and the current portfolio.

+ Understand external opportunities and threats for current portfolio and products in development.

+ Provide continuous country market access support for existing and new products.

+ Develop strategy for inclusion of company products to get reimbursement together with commercial team.

+ Ensure that local payer perspective is included in regional activities.

+ Identify, shape and deliver proposals for target accounts.

+ Develop partnerships with key organizations and customers including innovation networks, academic health science network; etc.

+ Create and implement projects to enhance and ensure easier access to Pfizer treatments by patients.


+ Academic degree (Economics; Business; Medical)

+ Proficiency in English at fluent level.

+ Five to ten years in pharmaceutical Industry

+ Experience in a similar position for 2 years (access knowledge)

+ Understand local environmental, healthcare system, payers & key stakeholders


+ Local health care system, payers & enviromental experience and expertise

+ Strong analytical and communications skills
