The Market Supervisor works independently in a traveling field role in support of Home Depot's Measurement Services center. The position is directly responsible for supporting Measure Technicians that directly report into the Market Supervisor. Market Supervisors are responsible for training, assigning and reviewing the Measure Technicians work. The Market Supervisor is an additional resource for the Measure Technicians in the field. When the Market Supervisor is not supporting a Measure Tech or interacting with a store they are focused on taking on site home measurements. Supervisors do are also responsible for holding there direct reports accountable and administering discipline.
MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITIES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Assisting Managers in reviewing associates daily work and connecting with stores (store walks). Directing and Supervising Measure Technicians and providing additional on the job training. Providing customer service by assessing customer needs, communicating with customers and conducting home measures.

ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
Usually in a comfortable environment but with regular exposure to factors causing moderate physical discomfort from such things as dust, fumes or odors.
Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time
Must be eighteen years of age or older.
Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.
Years of Relevant Work Experience: 10 years
Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
Previous customer service or retail sales experience is preferred.
