Description:


Opportunities for Marketing Associate Analysts exist on various teams across businesses including Frito-Lay, PepsiCo North American Beverages, and PepsiCo North American Nutrition. Possible marketing teams Associate Analysts support include Brand (Consumer Engagement, Communication, Strategy, and Innovation), Foodservice, Shopper Marketing, eCommerce and Insights. From the start of their career at PepsiCo, Marketing Associate Analysts have opportunities to support and execute high impact marketing initiatives and collaborate cross functionally to drive business results. What you can expect:
A Marketing Associate Analyst at PepsiCo will provide marketing and analytical support to senior managers regarding the development of various marketing initiatives and assist PepsiCo in achieving their short and long-term business strategy. An Associate Analyst may support these initiatives through developing expertise in key brand data, leading brand scorecards, and contributing major input to periodic operating reviews. Additionally, this position can provide opportunities to lead some key customer interactions by working with field marketing to drive outstanding execution of brand portfolios. The position may also entail interaction with various marketing agencies and partners to help bring brand strategies to life. The responsibilities of this position require both creative instinct and a highly quantitative skill set. The optimal quantitative skillset needed for the position will consist of a comfort with analyzing data to develop detailed and thought provoking strategic analysis and recommendations.
Position accountabilities may include:

  • Participating in new product launches and strategic brand repositioning
  • Assisting in the development and execution of consumer promotions at event and retail levels
  • Tracking and analyzing business performance results
  • Providing on-going analysis of the competitive landscape
  • Assisting in the development and management of the yearly budget
  • Developing and maintaining effective cross-functional working relationships in addition to managing relationships with external agencies



Minimum Requirements:

  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in preferred majors of Marketing or Business (others will be considered) prior to the intended full time start date
  • Have a minimum GPA of 3.2
  • Include GPA (unless your school has a non-disclosure policy) and stack-ranked location preference on submitted resume. Potential work locations include:
    • Chicago, IL
    • Dallas, TX
    • White Plains, Ny
  • Be eligible to work in United States without work authorization sponsorship now or anytime in the future
  • Pass a drug screen and background investigation

  • Proven leadership and teamwork through extracurricular involvement
  • Relevant marketing experience (on-or-off campus; either through jobs, previous internships, academic clubs, or volunteer experiences)
  • Unique experiences that demonstrate creative instinct, passion for marketing and deep consumer empathy
  • Demonstrated customer orientation
  • Passion for consumer brands
  • Familiarity with digital media platforms
  • Demonstrated project management and organizational skills
  • Strong analytical skillset with ability to find actionable, pragmatic solutions to complex problems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt in a dynamic and ambiguous environment
  • Strong drive for results
  • Intellectual curiosity
