About the Role:

success using tools including Marketo, Salesforce, Gainsight, and Zuora. As a Marketing Automation Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in the quality assurance of Marketo programs, campaigns and segmentations as well as enhance and maintain various marketing tools to scale our current architecture. The role also includes Tier 1 support for both technical and functional aspects of Salesforce and provides the opportunity to work on SaaS systems in other areas such as sales and customer success. The ideal candidate has a strong interest in marketing technologies and marketing concepts, has prior experience with Marketo or similar marketing automation tool as well as Salesforce. A strong team player mindset and willingness to learn new technologies and process is essential. The role will be part of the Business Systems and Analysis team and will be based in San Francisco, CA.


  • Maintain the lead scoring, routing, global preference center, demand gen waterfall and BDR flows in Marketo and Salesforce
  • Collaborate with Marketing Operations to ensure the quality of campaigns, program setup, smartlist logic, etc.
  • Continuously improve the way Marketing technologies integrate, looking for opportunities to improve processes
  • Maintain the Marketo lead database segmentation and configuration, and the sync to Salesforce
  • Provide chat, incident/ticket based technical and functional support to end users of SFDC and related upstream and downstream integrated systems on a daily basis.
  • Implementation and maintenance of Salesforce customizations including custom fields, objects, layouts, workflows, process builder and validation rules.
  • Document relevant support requests and solution provided.
  • Participate in the planning and analysis of business requirements for system changes and enhancements.
  • Monitor the overall marketing system health and pro-actively engage the systems team in solving any maintenance or system administrative issues.

Education & Experience:    

  • 2+ years experience in marketing operations, automation and/or demand generation
  • 2+ years experience using Marketo or similar marketing automation platforms (Eloqua, Pardot, Hubspot, etc).
  • Knowledge of various marketing technologies including Bizible, Uberflip, Unbounce, Reachforce, etc.
  • Proficiency with including understanding of salesforce object model,layouts, workflows, and validation rules.

Desirable, not required:

  • Marketo Certified Expert
