General Summary:

The supervisor contributes to the success of the Pepsi Beverages Company by leading the refurbishment of marketing equipment (coolers, vendors, fountain and components) in a manufacturing environment. This person is responsible for the supervision of front line employees; he or she must lead coach and support their team to achieve productivity, quality and customer service targets while maintaining safety and environmental standards.

Major Tasks, Key Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities:

  • Provide leadership to Certified Center technicians by ensuring key business and people metrics are met through effective communication, coaching, planning and direction.
  • Ensure the safety of the facility and employees.
  • Ensure the refurbishment of marketing equipment assets meets the highest standards of quality and agency certification.
  • Select, coach, train and develop certified center technicians.
  • Work with technicians in order to coach them on processes and develop their technical skills.
  • Maximize plant efficiency.
  • Ensure the Certified Center meets the annual operating plan budget.



Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 2 - 3 years of supervisory experience or equivalent
  • Experience with lean manufacturing is an asset
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Solid leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to demonstrate mechanical, electrical and refrigeration aptitude
  • Demonstrated computer proficiency; Microsoft Suite
