The Marketing Manager, Marketing Initiatives & Innovation is responsible for management of key strategic Marketing initiatives and innovation efforts through an early-stage development process.  The individual will help build and execute on marketing plans based on deep customer insights within Retirement and across the enterprise.
This individual will also work closely with team members to refine and articulate Prudential’s Worksite Solutions value proposition and brand promise. The person will collaborate with constituents across the business (Product, Sales, Customer Experience and Research, The Innovation Lab) and with corporate partners (Customer Office, Brand Marketing, Multicultural Marketing) as well as other cross-division marketing leads to build a customer-centric competency within Marketing and foster an innovative culture.
Success will be determined by the individual’s impact on:
  • His/her ability to uncover new insights (using qualitative and quantitative techniques) and put into market controlled tests that uncover opportunities for the business to:
    • Expand into new market segments in a differentiated way
    • Create new scalable solutions that drive engagement and profitable growth
    • Bring the value proposition to life
    • Drive internal and external engagement
  • Creating a voice in the market place that differentiates and drives advocacy
Major Responsibilities

  • Minimum of 5-6 years of marketing or related experience
  • Bachelors degree required
  • Experience with B2B and B2C marketing preferred
  • Experience with digital marketing and new marketing trends
  • Experience with analysis and reporting of hard and soft metrics
  • Proven project management and extremely strong organization skills
  • Curiosity. Ability to navigate through undefined territory.
  • Comfort with ambiguity; adaptability and openness to change
  • Proven communication, facilitation and presentation skills
  • Proven qualitative and quantitative analytic and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to quickly develop a deep knowledge of the company, Industry, products and services
