We look for people who can think creatively, make smart decisions, and anticipate future trends in retailing.Job Title:Marketing Operations ManagerPosition Summary:.City:SAN BRUNOState:CAPosition Description:This Marketing Operations Manager role will focus on specifically on tools and metrics to support the Sam's Club omni-channel marketing organization. They will develop reporting metrics and methods that will help to increase our speed to market and improve efficiency in our current marketing processes. This role will drive accountability by providing visibility to wins and opportunities within marketing processes, planning and execution. The Marketing Ops Tools and Metrics manager will also be responsible for providing training and on-boarding for marketing platform tools, as well as continuing to research and discover best-in-class tools for the business.

Develop and track key operational performance metrics that encourage delivery of a high quality, efficient and effective business operation

Design reports and dashboards that keep our performance visible to key stakeholders

Create marketing operations analysis and provide feedback to the team for continuous improvement

Monitor capacity reporting and provide recommendations to the team on resourcing

Weekly presentation of dashboards and status reports to executive leadership

Hold quarterly business reviews

Collaborate on new metrics, methods, and tools that can improve the efficiency of our marketing organization

Be the single point of contact for marketing tools issue management

Provide training and onboarding of new associates to marketing toolsMinimum Qualifications: Bachelor s degree in Business, Communications, or related field and 3 years experience in marketing, creative operations, or related field OR 5 years experience in marketing or related field.

Experience with reporting, data and workflow tools in a creative and/or marketing environment

Proven ability to innovate and drive efficiency in processes with strong bias toward data driven decision making and management

Entrepreneurial spirit, intellectual curiosity and persuasive confidence

Ability to problem-solve individually or in a group setting

Demonstrated understanding of marketing strategy and key business drivers

Strong communication skills with proven ability to build and maintain strong personal rapport with internal and external stakeholdersAdditional Preferred Qualifications:

+ 1 year experience managing cross-functional teams.

+ 1 year of supervisory experience.

+ 2 years experience in online marketing.

+ 2 years experience managing vendor contracts and relationships.

+ 3 years experience in direct or indirect retail marketing, including product marketing and brand management.

+ Master's degree in Business Administration or related field.
