Prudential is seeking a Marketing Project Manager to join the Prudential Advisors’ Marketing & Leads team in Newark, NJ. This role requires strong organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, resourcefulness and versatility. The right person for this role will have a demonstrated ability to drive multi-faceted projects to successful completion with limited oversight.


Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Research, write content and design marketing collateral and educational seminars to support the overall Financial Wellness program - including Onsite Learning, Digital Learning, Webinars and Prudential Advisors Onsite both internally and externally
  • Develop and conduct marketing training for field management and financial professionals as needed
  • Collaboration with internal stakeholders to develop innovative, integrated marketing plans for assigned programs and events to support the organization’s priorities.  Also, responsible for execution of these plans, on time and on budget, under the supervision of the Director of Marketing.
  • Manage marketing collateral through the creative process with excellent project management skills. This involves collaborating with managers, senior leaders and graphic designers on material develop and handling the subject-matter and marketing review process.
  • Fulfillment of marketing collateral (e.g., working with procurement to print or set-up documents for print on demand)
  • Work as a team player to support overall organizational goals and partner with internal stakeholders, including but not limited to, Individual Solutions Group and Workplace Solutions Group Marketing and Distribution Teams, Global Communications, Advertising, Financial Wellness team members, Legal and Compliance.  
  • Attend team and business meetings
  • Active participation in various projects and ad hoc assignments as requested


  • Bachelor's degree, with a focus on Marketing and/or experience working in financial wellness
  • Ability to think strategically and creatively with respect to the marketing process and its application to the lines of business and corporate imperatives.
  • Highly motivated, independent and capable of performing in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written, communication and organizational skills with reporting and follow-through
  • Ability to self-direct, troubleshoot, and problem solve
  • Experience working with executive and mid-level managers and extensive interaction with internal and external (Prudential) business partners
  • Demonstrated project or process management skills with the ability to facilitate project workflow
  • Experience working with Microsoft Professional software suite, especially PowerPoint
  • Portfolio which demonstrates a variety of experience within marketing
