The Decision Insights Group is a strategic advisor to Prudential businesses, delivering actionable insights to inform and shape business decisions that help them achieve their key performance goals.  Our mission is to add value to Prudential by providing its businesses and corporate functions with strategic, relevant and actionable insights that are well grounded in business acumen. 


The Marketing Research Analyst will work across the group to provide analytical support on specific ongoing and ad hoc projects.  Reporting to a Manager, the Analyst will have exposure to various Prudential’s businesses and corporate centers.


  • Understand, prepare, and analyze market data collected from primary research studies
  • Assist with data merging, cleaning, tabulation and synthesis
  • Identify relevant findings from analyzed data and effectively communicate findings verbally or in written form
  • Participate in development and execution of analysis plans


  • Bachelor’s degree (required); Master’s degree in statistics, mathematics, social sciences, business, and/or economics, with course work in data analysis preferred
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in quantitative primary market research, preferably supplier-side experience.
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to synthesize and find meaning in data and its implications.
  • Proficiency in data analysis using Excel.
  • Proficiency in SPSS, with working knowledge of statistics a plus (e.g., significance testing, correlation, regression.). 
  • Knowledge of Tableau or other data visualization programs a plus.
  • Comfortable with numbers & numerical relationships.
  • Highly detailed oriented.
  • Excellent at multi-tasking and working under deadlines.
  • Ability to present and explain data in a clear and concise manner.
  • Aptitude and willingness to quickly learn new skills and information.
