Description

The Marketing Specialist drives the ideation, development, and implementation of employment branding and digital media efforts across all of the Cox divisions (Cox Enterprises, Cox Communications, Cox Automotive, and Cox Media Group).
Duties and responsibilities

CLIENT & STRATEGY

Serve as a trusted CTA partner by creating and implementing a consistent and engaging employment branding message – in alignment with marketing brand standards, company culture, and Cox’s value proposition – across all employment branding touchpoints. Under guidance of Employment Branding leader:
  • Identify and execute tactics that drive and support Cox’s employment branding strategy across internal and external candidate channels.
  • Provide consultative support and training to CTA and division stakeholders to own & communicate Cox’s overall division-specific employment message/value proposition on relevant channels.
  • Competitive research, SEO, SEM of all priority job postings and content to optimize digital media placement and align with industry standards
  • Leveraging job board site research to understand and report on our job postings in the market (e.g., Indeed, LinkedIn, Glassdoor, Careerbuilder, Dice, Google).  
  • Create analytical reports to show campaign progress in connection with the hiring goals to provide the business with recorded ROI
  • Monitor and ensure on-going adherence to brand standards in close partnership with division stakeholders.
  • Support and ensure consistency of talent acquisition brand through various digital media/social media sites as necessary.
  • Work with leadership to understand hiring needs; develop and execute marketing and media plans to support hiring goals
  • Assist with the development and deployment of talent acquisition marketing collateral for recruiting related initiatives; provide guidance to the CTA team on collateral repositories and use guidelines.
  • Support enhancements to the Cox career site(s) as necessary.
  • Oversee consistent branding and messaging across employment branding tactics and channels.
  • Work with outside agencies to develop branding and collateral as necessary.
  • Oversee projects related to employment branding, employment collateral, and/or social media initiatives related to recruiting.
  • Identify and present opportunities to improve end-to-end candidate experience, work with appropriate stakeholders to adopt opportunities upon approval.
  • Experience managing and tracking multiple budgets
  • Attend meetings and track assigned accountabilities and follow-up status of resulting action items.
TEAM LEADERSHIP

Serve as a member of the CTA team by role modeling the vision of the team, the values of the company, and the focus on CTA’s best-in-class status:

  • Act as a day-to-day liaison with CTA Leadership, CTA Service Delivery Teams, CTA COE Team, Vendors, and other stakeholders
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to successfully interact with all levels of the organization; influence without authority
  • Utilize exceptional interpersonal and collaborative skills to gain credibility and build rapport across all levels of organization

Qualifications

MINIMUM
  • 3+ years’ experience in employment branding, marketing, media planning (or other related experience) to reach passive and active audiences.
  • Demonstrated experience with developing and implementing consistent branding protocols that supports identified business initiatives
  • Knowledge of SEO and SEM applied strategies
  • Proven experience and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Effective verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Visio, Word and Excel)
 
PREFERRED
  • Bachelor's Degree in related field strongly desired
  • Demonstrated experience working closely with leaders to develop solutions for the business
  • Experience with copywriting; strong command of English language
  • Knowledgeable and skilled in talent acquisition and/or recruiting strategies
  • Experience with content management, strongly desired
  • Experience with web site / digital newsletter (HTML) design a plus
  • Proven experience using Recruitment tools (ATS, job boards, etc.)
  • Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
  • Project management experience with the ability to develop detailed project plans
  • Proven experience utilizing current, and fostering new, innovative relationship building strategies including social networks, external partnerships, and outreach
  • Experience using a CRM tool to foster talent communities
  •  Generating landing pages for promotional and onsite candidate capture and email marketing campaign follow up.
