Team Description

The vision of the Digital Marketing team is to be an innovative leader in Real-time Personalized Marketing & communication through unifying Omni channel Digital & Human experiences.

The APJ team is in charge of delivering this vision in to our region through effective leadership, collaboration and problem solving.

Interface with Cisco Marketing leaders and work in areas such as social media, digital marketing. Learn the foundations of marketing and use those skills to help jump-start your career.


What You’ll Do

We are hiring Marketing Specialist Interns to work in two different areas within the Digital Marketing team:

Marketing Specialist Intern - Cisco.com

  • Review top engagement pages in APJ and identify code updates which needs to be made to rank the pages higher
  • Work with the publishing team to get the pages updated
  • Document the process, set up training for all the teams involved
Marketing Specialist Intern - Social Ambassador

  • Review existing social content publishing process in to Social Ambassador hub in APJ
  • Identify gaps and suggest process improvements
  • Standardise process across the teams
  • Document the process, set up training for all the teams involved
  • Review usage of the Social Ambassador Hub with the country marketing & sales teams
  • Be the POC on any questions from Sales or other users
  • Co-ordinate the training sessions delivered through an external vendor

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Marketing, Business/International Business or a related area
  • Minimum of a 3.0 GPA or equivalent
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, language skills beyond English are a plus
  • Team oriented, have strong communication skills and influencing skills
  • Demonstrated interest in marketing – internship, coursework or work experience
  • Detail oriented, resourceful, and able to prioritize under deadlines
  • Leadership, interpersonal skills, creative thinker and problem solver
  • Must be an Australian Permanent Resident or Australian or New Zealand Citizen
