**Role Description:**

Acts as a reimbursement specialist and a health economics and outcomes research expert to internal customers and external stakeholders. The purpose of this role is to attain ideal reimbursement status for Pfizer products through the development and leveraging of clinical, economic and humanistic evidence demonstrating the value of Pfizer's products and through the development of pricing negotiation strategies that maximize product profitability in alignment with the Business Units' strategy for both in-line and new products.

This individual will be responsible for a small team of direct and indirect reports and will lead cross functional efforts around specific market access product strategies, programs and tactics associated. This individual will report directly to the Health & Value and Corporate Affairs Director and will work closely with several multidisciplinary areas including but not limited to marketing, sales, regulatory, legal, corporate affairs, patient advocacy, reputation and corporate communications. The individual will also be responsible to negotiate for financial support for access projects from brand leaders and staffing requirements.

Strategic Planning:

+ Develop the divisional strategy and cross-functional reimbursement plans in order to achieve product formulary listings and support public and private reimbursement plan objectives throughout the product life-cycle

+ Develop and maintain the public and private payer value proposition of pipeline and inline products

+ Translate customer needs and insights into knowledge and expertise that will optimize product reimbursementReimbursement stakeholder development and environment influence:

+ Understanding of the HTA and public and private payer processes, analysis and insight generation for the purpose of implementing reimbursement plans within both global and cross-functional teams

+ Enrich and enhance relationships with stakeholder groups in support of the value of Pfizer's products throughout the reimbursement continuumReimbursement plan implementation:

+ Plan and carry out health economics and outcomes research studies, and patient-relevant outcome projects (e.g. patient input into the HTA process)

+ Communicate study and project results to the HTA and health economics community, public and private payers, and patient group representatives

+ Establish clear access metrics and monitor and measure the success of reimbursement strategies

+ Effectively target investments and adapt approaches as required to achieve successful access outcomes **General Qualifications:**

+ Advanced degree (master's required and doctorate an asset) in health services research, public health, epidemiology, economics, business administration or pharmacy

+ Minimum of five years of outcomes research or market access experience.

+ Understanding of the healthcare landscape, HTA, private and public payers

+ Knowledge of the pricing environment

+ Experience in the pharmacoeconomic evaluation of health-care interventions (mainly in the following areas: health economics, health-related quality of life or health services research) is an asset

+ Experience in interfacing with formulary committees

+ Demonstrated ability to negotiate and influence stakeholders in order to generate mutual gains (win-win solutions)

+ Demonstrated ability to lead and be part of multidisciplinary teams to support product reimbursement and formulary listing goals

+ Understanding of the interplay between influencers of Pfizer's sector of activity

+ Strong multitasking, prioritization and project management skills

+ Flexibility and ability to adapt quickly to changing customer needs/demands and to environment changes

+ Excellent interpersonal and networking skills and capacity to manage conflict constructively

+ Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills

+ Bilingualism (Spanish and English) is an asset
