Description

Cox Media is looking for a strategic and results-oriented Sales Services Specialist to assist in the pivotal role of assisting sales consultants in developing innovative digital client advertising solutions. Reporting to the Director / Manager of Media Sales Services, Specialist works in synchronized collaboration with Digital Sales Manager, Product Specialist, Sales Consultants, and Sales Services to coordinate and troubleshoot the acquisition and fulfillment of digital advertising orders. Role strategizes with sales consultants to increase digital fulfillment results and revenue generation to fit within the client’s goals and objectives.

The Media Sales Services Specialist is part of a fast-paced organization with a keen focus on solutions selling. This role involves working closely with sales consultants and clients as well as other internal staff to ensure accurate fulfillment of digital fulfillment insertion orders.  Specialist serves primarily internal customers but also has regular phone contact with clients.


Primary Responsibilities

Digital Fulfillment Expertise

Applies effective fulfillment techniques in reviewing and troubleshooting incoming insertion orders with multiple products, pricing, and delivery method components. Works independently and collaboratively with all internal stakeholders and product vendors to maximize fulfillment potential.

Support the client through direct contact to obtain information or by informing them about schedule changes, responding to questions, solving their schedule-related problems, and handling any other requests by phone or in person.

Accurately submit all digital advertising orders including various billing orders using the appropriate fulfillment processes and systems.

Ensure that approved advertising creative is submitted accurately, offering expertise on creative as needed, and that creative updates are submitted as necessary.

Analyze and update current reports, track current orders, review trends in fulfillment, inventory availability and supply end of month campaign results as needed.

Collaborate with sales consultants to provide follow-up information and post-campaign details to clients.


Grow the Business

Grow the business through up-selling in line with client goals and objectives and previously agreed-upon client solution.

Proactively schedules and facilitates Account Strategy and Account Fulfillment meetings with Sales Consultants to discuss revenue generation and fulfillment improvement opportunities.

Set-up new client accounts and client billing using appropriate systems.

Monitors key business reports to gauge the successful fulfillment of client contracts. Initiates and takes action as needed to engage client and sales consultants in modifications, changes, and/or client notifications needed.

Problem Solving

Investigate and resolve credit holds and misapplied payments, along with maintaining records.

Initiate and take action as needed to engage sales consultants in modifications, changes, and/or client notifications needed.

Investigates discrepancies and applies solutions by working directly with client or sales consultant for approved solution and processes solutions into the system.


Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

1 year experience in a sales support environment

1 year experience using Microsoft Office applications

18 years of age or older

Eligibility to work in the United States

Preferred Qualifications

            1 year experience in a digital advertising environment

Bachelor’s degree

Post high school education pertaining to sales, advertising or marketing
