Medical Advisor (m/f) Oncology

**This is what you can look forward to:**

**Role Description :**

+ The Medical Advisor - Oncology will be responsible to develop strategic partnerships with internal and external key stakeholders during the entire lifecycle of Pfizer Oncology products

+ You provide focused relevant information in response to customer-stated needs in order to maintain a therapeutic leadership position and drive business needs at the national, regional, and corporate level

+ Acts on national level and is a key member of the Mid-Size Markets Western Europe

+ You will work in a cross-functional, national and international team to maximize the value of Pfizer portfolio in country and at regional level

**Main Responsibilities:**

+ The Medical Advisor (MA) acts as a bridge between research and commercial functions

+ Interacts with and develops enduring relationships with key opinion leaders on national and regional level according to Pfizer franchise

+ Spearheads the generation and dissemination of unbiased clinical and scientific information

+ Provides scientific / medical expertise to a therapeutic area or to a given product

+ Dissemination of recent scientific knowledge/data on Oncology portfolio in approved indications

+ Communication of recent scientific knowledge/data on Oncology portfolio in off-label indications and on Oncology products in development upon request

+ Works and collaborates with medical societies relevant to Oncology

+ Initiates and runs advisory boards, expert and scientific meetings on local and regional level;

+ Delivers quality scientific presentations at internal and external meetings;

+ Supports local approval of scientific material produced in country e. g local marketing material

+ Takes a leadership role in the national reimbursement submission process

**What you offer:**

A MD or a higher level science degree (biomedical, pharmacist)

An in-depth knowledge of the therapeutic and market context

A good understanding of:

+ Process of drug development

+ Clinical research as well as the ability to critically evaluate clinical studies and publication

+ The national and regional health environment including its structure, policy, key members and scientific societies

You are fluent in business English and local language

You are an engaged and motivated personality willing to improve outcome of cancer patients
