POSITION SUMMARY

The Medical Assistant is responsible for unit clerical duties and for supporting the clinical team, Nursing Supervisor and Director of Nursing in implementing effective paper flow, record keeping systems, and administrative processes.

Job Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Licensure: High School diploma, or equivalent. Graduate from an approved post-secondary program or medical assistant course.

Experience: Minimum of one (1) year experience in a health care facility preferred.
