Salt Lake Behavioral Health, is a private, freestanding, 118- bed, acute psychiatric hospital; specializing in mental health and chemical dependency. We provide a wide range of services and programs that offer evidence-based treatment proven to have positive outcomes for our patients. Our inpatient and day hospital, or outpatient services offer supportive and compassionate care for adults through specialty programs that are tailored to meet the needs of our patients. Salt Lake Behavioral Health currently has a Medical Doctor position available. The candidate selected will be responsible for the following:

Duties will include admission evaluations, treatment planning and treatment team leadership and daily clinical care of patient and administrative activities related to patient care. All programs are offered in highly structured, supportive and compassionate multidisciplinary treatment settings.  A very competitive compensation packages will include salary, benefits and bonus opportunity and more.  Programs address general psychiatric and dual diagnoses treatment issues including substance abuse in addition to specialty treatment programs for military personnel.

 
Requirements
Education: Medical Doctorate Degree.

Experience: Preferably two or more years experience within a psychiatric setting. A minimum of two (2) years experience in working with in an inpatient setting is preferred.

Licensure: Licensed to practice in the State of Utah as a Medical Doctor. Prescriptive authority from the Board of Medical Examiners is required.
