Position Title: Meeting Center Concierge
Job Code: 464038
Job Location: New Jersey-Newark

This position will provide daily support to Conference Planners within the Executive Events and Conference Center Management team. Specific responsibilities supporting the day to day operations of the Event Planning team include but are not limited to the following:

  • Verifying accuracy of conference room set ups
  • Checking and replacing inventory supplies in all conference rooms
  • Update weekly/monthly meeting schedule for all venues/events
  • Update meeting reports that track conference center attendance
  • Provide on-site support for events as needed (a/v, room set up, catering, Hvac, etc.) and refer issues/questions to proper contacts within Facilities, Catering, GBTS for resolution.
  • Complete daily inspection of floor report for conference center maintenance/upkeep needs
  • Enter Facilities requests for conference center
  • Maintain issues log for Conference Planners
  • Print badges for conference attendees
  • Handling administrative logistics as requested by Conference Planners
  • Order Conference Center supplies and giveaway items
  • Assist with reservations upon request from Conference Planners

  • As a point person for the executive conference center, candidate must have professional presence and pleasant personality
  • High degree of motivation as well as being able to quickly master new challenges
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Strong time management and organizational skills / ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to professionally service peers and management as customers
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and a fast paced environment
  • Proficient with MS Office

    Comments:  Overtime may be required to assist Conference Planners for events as needed
