Description:

The Production scheduler is primarily responsible for understanding and mitigating product supply issues to develop daily manufacturing schedules. Additionally, the Production Scheduler must communicate with manufacturing/warehouse team on opportunities that might hinder ensuring service to customers (internal and external).

Works with Site Service manager and SCL to ensure the service agenda is fully leveraged and implemented across the site. Coordinate and drive daily scheduling meeting for the site.

  • Coordinate daily production/shipping/sanitation/crewing (holiday)/projects data to create daily production schedules
  • Balance manufacturing labor efficiencies with shipping compliance by executing the appropriate trade-off analysis
  • Build solid relationships and interact with all levels of the organization
  • Formalize feedback systems on scheduling efficiency/lbs attainment
  • Facilitate Site Service Meetings as needed
  • Work closely with Starfleet to enhance scheduling efficiency (MLS alignment to maximize packaging labor potential)
  • Complete various reports as required (ie: Manufacturing Notifications, Vend and VPK Forecast, Lbs attainment, weekly lbs projection and recap)
  • Determine product support requirements
  • Perform special projects and other tasks and duties as required
  • Upkeep of produced item settings, including S4, DRP, DPP maintenance and Daily MPS committal
  • Work closely with CSR and Warehouse team to support SAP systems maintenance, i.e. Order management and compliance.
  • Work closely with Receiving and raw materials to ensure raw material availability


Work Schedule: Sunday - Thursday; must be flexible (OT, 6th and 7th days, and Holidays as needed)

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills - must deal with all internal and external sources
  • Strong analytical skills - able to build models (used to analyze crewing, future promotional production needs)
  • Ability to work under pressure and strict timelines
  • Strong time management, organizational, and follow-up skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities due at the same time
  • Must be able to work independently, complete tasks, resolve issues, and take feedback from all levels of the organization with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent computer skills in local software: (Windows - Lotus Notes, Lotus 123, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to learn and manage ICS, R-Time, DPP, DRP/OMS/Pipeline, Business Objects, and XPTR) and all other service tools.
