Job Details

+ **ROLE DESCRIPTION:**



+ The selected candidate will perform and review microbiology testing and enviromental monitoring activties.



+ He/she will manage the documentation related to the Microbiology Laboratory. Analytical Validations, Calibration and Maintenance activties will be included.



+ He/she will work as part of the laboratory technicians team facilitating the day to day operations function, participating in every continuous improvement projects. (Standard Work, 5S...). He/she will manage and can lead laboratory investigations and QAR's.



+ Successful candidate will manage all aspects related to the Quality Systems in the Micro Lab, Investigations -including corrective and preventive (CAPA) actions-, Change Control, Risk Management, Commitments, Documentation (SOP, Forms), CAS and area projects with the aim of preventing reoccurrence of deviations and ensuring the timely completion of activities related to Quality Systems. **RESPONSIBILITIES:**



+ Provide day to day lab operations support.



+ Remain current in industry practices regarding laboratory activities, pharmacopeias, investigations, change control, and CAPA.



+ Own operations commitments / change controls / CAS / action items within your area of expertise.



+ Own documents within your area of expertise. Lead revisions to these documents as required.



+ Feed into the preparation of the APQR as required.



+ **SKILLS**



+ Fluent Spanish and English (both oral and written) are required.



+ Ability to write clear and solid technical documents is also a key requirement.



+ Self-starter, able to work autonomously, team player.



+ Able to adapt and respond positively to a variety of situations and people in order to meet constantly changing conditions and priorities under tight time frames. **EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:**



+ Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or Biology preferred. Other Life Sciences degrees will be considered.



+ At least 1 year of experience in laboratory activities (microbiology laboratory or quality assurance) gained in different pharmaceutical companies/sites.



+ Deep knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices and other applicable regulatory requirements.



+ Advanced user of LIMS, QTS and PDOCS



+ Working knowledge of Quality tools and statistical software (MiniTab)
