Job Details


The BQ area is responsible for quality control testing of in-process and finished products, raw materials and critical environment monitoring in the McPherson plant.


+ Reviews B.E.T., sterility, potency assays, environmental and limit testing on all products.

+ Maintains records of all analysis information of assigned products on data sheets for permanent file and proper entry of information on laboratory forms.

+ Assists in writing and updating standard operating procedures as related to microbiology and pharmacology data review.

+ Evaluates all data obtained from analysis, identifies discrepancy or deviation, consults with supervisor and recommends any additional testing.

+ Participates in employee involvement team(s).

+ Any other duties as assigned by supervisor.

+ Maintains a clean and organized laboratory environment.


Requires ability to understand and carry out assigned duties effectively. Knowledge needed of microbiological testing and GMP. A minimum of 2 years of BQ or equivalent experience. Bachelor's preferred.
