Description of Role
As a member of the Platform Technology Team at Cisco Cloudlock, you will play a critical role in the future of cloud security by helping to facilitate and nurture partnerships via technical expertise. You will serve as the subject matter expert on all things Office 365 in support of multiple diverse teams and a diverse set of responsibilities. This role is very much looking for an entrepreneur who can identify trends and push Cloudlock ahead of the competition. He/she will have to work closely with the BD, PM, and engineering team to align, qualify, and execute on these opportunities. The role is far more about enabling the organization to be successful and accelerate key initiatives than it is about being a solid individual contributor.
Cultivate relationships with Microsoft and Office 365 teams across the broad spectrum of products in that suite (Sharepoint Online, Exchange, Yammer, OneDrive for Business, Microsoft Teams, etc) and serve as the subject matter expert for Cisco Cloudlock.
Serve as a bridge between Office 365 PMs and Cloudlock’s PMs to identify and quantify new opportunities
Work closely with Product Marketing to enable them to develop solution guides and sales collateral and help refine our competitive messaging.
Champion internal Cisco Cloudlock excellence and adoption of partner APIs and technologies within engineering through becoming a subject matter expert, prototyping, advocacy code samples and training
Enable our sales engineers and field to succeed with complicated customer environments by providing guidance in a solution architect-like capacity
Rapidly prototype solutions (aka hands on dev) in conjunction with the architecture team and engineering to demonstrate quick value and best practices.
Represent Cisco Cloudlock at industry and partner events through face to face meetings, speaking opportunities, and networking.
The role is based out of our Waltham, MA headquarters. Off site locations will be considered, but given the highly collaborative nature of the job, preference is given to those that are local.
Fantastic communication - written and oral - and presentation skills - this is a highly collaborative and cross functional role so being able to “speak” effectively to different audiences is a must
Solid understanding of the Office 365 ecosystem including typical customer deployments, APIs, support channels, and organization mappings. Existing certifications like MCSE: Productivity is a nice to have.
Technical background either as a developer, architect, or solution architect ideally with the Microsoft ecosystem
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced start-up, juggling multiple projects and developer relations
This position entails about 1 trip a month to conferences, partner, or other Cisco sites.
