The Role of the Exam Operations Team Lead is to oversee the assigning of cases to Case Coordinators and to ensure that cases are being managed timely and appropriately to ensure contractual requirements are met.  The Exam Operations lead will be expected to assist Case Coordinators in placing Veterans cases with providers.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for providing leadership, coaching and mentoring to Case Coordinators
  • Responsible for assisting in the distribution and management of work according to contractual requirements.
  • Ensure all daily tasks are being completed by the Case Coordinators
  • Schedule Veterans examinations and diagnostic testing
  • Work with Clinic Manager to ensure MSLA clinics are properly staffed on day of Veteran’s examination
  • Manage telephony activity (i.e. inbound / outbound, escalation calls, established metrics being achieved)
  • Ensure all pertinent information is documented in MSLA database
  • Confirm daily clinic schedules are faxed to MSLA facilities
  • Work with Real Time Analyst, Workforce Planner and Quality Advocates to optimize the customer experience and results, especially during time of high volume activity
  • All other duties assigned by Management

  • Self - motivated, detail - oriented, organized and adaptable
  • Strong knowledge of Medical Terminology
  • Strong knowledge of Diagnostics
  • Able to understand instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to consistently follow through
  • Proficient in general computer use and Microsoft Office Suite
