Responsible for building and maintaining successful working relationships between MSLA and large health systems (hospitals, physician groups, ancillary groups, etc.), Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts. This is accomplished through negotiation of geographically competitive, broad access agreements that meet objectives for MSLA’s cost and quality parameters. In addition, serve as the primary liaison between operational departments and assigned accounts. Work closely with all aspects of the business to ensure account retention and overall satisfaction.
 
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Negotiate agreements
  • Serve as a key resource on complex and/or critical issues
  • Solve complex problems and develop innovative solutions
  • Perform complex conceptual analyses
  • Provide input and recommendations for process improvement
  • May lead functional or segment teams or projects as needed
  • Provide explanations and information to others on the most complex issues
  • Motivate and inspire other team members
  • Work closely with Operational Subject Matter Experts to manage expectations between MSLA and assigned accounts
  • Anticipate operational and provider needs and proactively develop solutions to meet them
  • Provide regular account updates and reports to management regarding account negotiations, retention and performance
Required Qualifications:
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent plus experience
  • 5+ years’ experience in a Provider Network Management and Provider Relations, handling complex network providers with accountability for business results

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of credentialing processes
  • Strong technical and healthcare regulatory knowledge
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to speak clearly and concisely, conveying complex or technical information in a manner that others can understand, as well as ability to understand and interpret complex information form others, including but not limited to reimbursement policy standards
  • Strong interpersonal skills, establishing rapport and working well with others
If the hired individual resides in Florida (office based or telecommuting) this position requires the AHCA Level II background check (fingerprinting) by the State of Florida for all clinicians that have direct face to face contact with members OR employees who will have access to confidential patient data and will require renewal every five years.
