The role of the Operations Trainer is to train staff in systems and process in multiple job functions with the goal to manage all aspects of referrals for Compensation and Pension Examinations for  Veterans  within contractual guidelines.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Deliver and facilitate training to multiple job functions within MSLA’s Operations to include orientation, technical,  and on the job training
  • Deliver training to new hires and existing employees to ensure their technical and process skills meet the highest level of standards
  • Coach and mentor employees on areas of improvement in a positive and constructive manner using techniques to assess learning gaps
  • Support Operations as a Subject Matter Expert to include user acceptance testing of systems and process, quality improvements, and curriculum design 
  • Assess the training and organizational development needs within several operations  functions
  • Participate in the development of training programs to include New Hire, Cross Training, Up Training and Continuing Educations
  • Prepare training related materials and work with instructional designers and document analyst to ensure curriculum is up to date
  • Provide leadership within the classroom or virtual classroom environment and report to management the performance of our employees in training
  • Report training metrics and generate training related reports
  • Work on Ad-hoc projects and events as needed to ensure a flexible business environment
  • Schedule classes to include rosters, classroom and system access
  • Mentor others as a respected member of a delivery team
  • Act as a resource to others when needed to include working on the floor as an operations employee if business requires additional man power
Required Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1+ years of presentation and facilitation experience
  • Knowledge of Adult Learning Theory and Principles
  • Experience managing multiple projects to completion
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel for reporting, tracking, creating and modifying spreadsheets
  • Experience using Microsoft PowerPoint to create or modify presentations
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time within the US and possibly international
  • Ability to pass a government background check

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree (or higher)
  • Previous Adult Classroom Training experience
  • Previous experience with virtual presentations
If the hired individual resides in Florida (office based or telecommuting) this position requires the AHCA Level II background check (fingerprinting) by the State of Florida for all clinicians that have direct face to face contact with members OR employees who will have access to confidential patient data and will require renewal every five years.
