What You'll Do
You will performs technical support functions on problem resolution in support of major account under direction of Delivery Manager or Senior NCE in conformance to service delivery standards.  You will interact with Cisco's customers on a frequent basis working within an extended multi-functional team including project manager; account team members (Product and Services Sales; Systems and Consulting Systems Engineers).

Other responsibilities include:
  • Creation of customer deliverable documentation including High Level Designs, Low Level Designs and test plans for the entire Collaboration portfolio
  • Leading Design workshops: NCE will delivery design workshops and consultancy services to customer. Experience in implementing a UC/UCCE network, given a design document and customer requirements
  • Flexibility in working hours as some migrations will require weekend and after hours work. Ready to work in a dynamic environment to help Cisco build and deliver new solutions and take on cross architecture customer engineering projects.
  • Ability to grasp complex design concepts quickly and be able to provide the right solutions to the clients
  • Ability to solve implementation problems during migrations. Assists customer with deployment of related tools that support a customer and related Network Management Systems

NOS portfolio offer customers a comprehensive deliverables set in Network Assessment, Learning, Support and Architecture Specialization (Routing & Switching, Wireless, Security) domain.

The Network Optimization Service is Cisco Advanced Service's flagship offer, supporting the core network infrastructure of hundreds of customers around the world. The team is targeted to assist SP and Enterprise customers to drive key values and outcomes, including OPEX reduction, Agility and end user satisfaction.

Who You Are

You have knowledge in (1) platform area specific to customer space and in (2) of the following and strong knowledge in all other areas: IP internetworking, LAN Switching, Routing, ATM & Voice technologies, IP Telephony, SAN, CDN, Optical, Wireless, IPCC. WAN protocols (Frame Relay, ISDN). IP Routing protocols (IGRP, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP).  You have knowledge of network design concepts and network management, network availability & capacity planning. You have knowledgeable in (1) or more of: IP Internetworking LAN switching, IP routing and WAN technologies.

Our minimum reqiurements are the following:
  • CCxA certification
  • Developing presentation skills. Able to present to peers on delivery topics.
  • B.TECH / M.TECH BE/ BS with CCNA required and CCIE R&S preferred
  • Ideal candidate has 4+ years of experience
  • Citizenship Required.
