Whom You'll Work With
The Security Innovation and Delivery Team (IDT) is a great opportunity for the Cisco Network Consulting Engineer (NCE). The Europe, Middle East and Russian (EMEAR) team is responsible for critical customer facing roles requiring a unique ability to drive innovation by recognizing gaps in customer capabilities and translating them into technical recommendations that affect business outcomes.  Being part of this team will provide you with incredible access to ever-changing technologies, state of the art tools/innovation and automation with a direct line to the Business Unit and Development Engineers that produce the intellectual capital that provides great value to our customers.  You will also work with a wide virtual team based in a variety of countries with diverse backgrounds. What You Will Do
Review technical business requirements and proposing designs to meet the customer current and future business needs, whilst also providing IT consultancy, design, implementation and support services to customers. Produce and present project documentation including design, implementation and testing in line with Cisco standards.
Deliver Cisco's brand of optimization service by working closely with the customer on issues and opportunities in their (network/datacenter) IT environment. This involves the analysis of data collected from the customer's environment against Cisco standards and guidance to optimize the customer's infrastructure and operational environment.
Become the trusted advisor, building a solid, long-term relationship with your customers through providing technical thought leadership in solving customer issues and helping them achieve their business outcomes. 
Aligns with and supports company policies, processes, and utilizes relevant tools, to effectively execute the role, and support Cisco's strategies and goals.
Engages in continuous improvement by reusing and enhancing the existing knowledge base, learning new technologies, and learning new technologies, architectures, and techniques.

Who You Are

Minimum Qualifications
* Minimum of 4 years of security experience is preferred 
* Bachelors degree or equivalent in a relevant subject is desired
* CISSP certification is preferred as a minimum, with additional qualifications such as CCIE, CCDE or other vendor certifications being beneficial

Desired Skills
* Expert level knowledge in internetworking troubleshooting in a large-scale network environment using products from Cisco and other vendors
* Expert level knowledge in network security, including architecture and configuration of 2-3 of the following: Cisco routers, ASA firewalls, FirePower IPS, AMP, ISE, ESA/WSA.
* Self-motivated with solid technical leadership and collaboration skills with excellent written, oral communication and listening skills communication skills to interact with various levels within a customers' organization
* Excellent verbal and written English skills are required
