Team Description

We value your ideas, perspective on how to get things done. Work on network infrastructures. Deliver business solutions and technology solutions from data, security, mobility, and cloud.

What You’ll Do

● Develop network designs in alignment with standards and roadmaps.

- Participate in strategic network planning

- Contribute to design forums and enterprise network architecture reviews

- Advance network management toolkits

● Network testing and implementation

- Perform impact analysis for changed/new technologies on the network

- Prepare the network for required changes (setup, testing, certification, deployment)

- Determine network implementation approach

- Create and maintain network documentation

● Network Operations and Support

- Monitor the internal network and Cisco Partner connections

-availability and performance

- Optimize the network

- Manage incidents and cases related to the network

– including on-call rotations

● Collaboration & Partnership

- Provide consulting on Cisco’s internal network design, implementation, and management.

- Work with Cisco product Business Units to incorporate Cisco experience in product lifecycles

- Showcase Cisco-on-Cisco best practice and Executive Customer Briefings

- Coach and mentor peers and teammates


● Recent graduate or on your final year of studies toward a bachelor’s or master's degree in a technical field, such as Networking, Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical/Computer Engineering or a similar field

● Good understanding of technologies such as LAN switching (STP, LACP, PAgP, PoE), Wireless (802.11) security (802.1X, RADIUS, ACS, ISE, PKI, EAP) DHCP, routing (EIGRP, BGP)

● Fluent in English (verbal and written) with a minimum GPA of 3.0

● Passionate about networking, information technology or computer science

● Knowledge of adjacent technologies, holding Cisco Certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP) or industry recognized certifications is a plus

● Strong analytical and problem solving skills with ability to troubleshoot technical problems

● Ability to multi-task, self-start, work in a fast-paced team environment and work independently

● Ability to travel to customer sites (amount of travel will vary based upon your role and technology team)
