Location: Peapack, NJ

Description This individual is responsible for providing programme management support for the Network and Operational Excellence Programme. This includes the development and deployment of Integrated Manufacturing Excellence (IMEx). This activity is a core element of PGS Transformation and is focused on driving transformational change of the way of working across the PGS network and achievement of the 2020 Transformation outcome metrics.

The position requires the individual to interact with and influence a broad range of functions, including Finance, Procurement, BT and PGS (Sites, Center, ET members) to achieve business goals.

A strong understanding and working knowledge of manufacturing is desired.



Responsibilities:



+ Develop and implement processes to ensure full breadth of program is tracked

+ Identify opportunities to leverage resources and improve the resource and program efficiency

+ Oversee and report metrics regarding the program status, milestones, risks and opportunities. Proactively communicate issues and challenges, seek decisions and work to remove barriers to success.

+ Track resource requests and support resource prioritization

+ Support governance of the Network Excellence workstream by facilitating meetings, preparing status updates and other activities necessary to ensure all stakeholders are aware of and adhering to commitments and that obstacles are understood and removed

+ Develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders and support programme communications

+ Manage all aspects of multiple related projects to ensure the overall program is aligned to and directly supports the achievement of strategic objectives

+ Report on project success criteria results, metrics, test and deployment management activities



Qualifications:



+ Manufacturing and/or quality operations experience required

+ Experience leading cross functional teams. Proven ability to collaborate and influence in a matrix organization. Good motivator of people to get things done. Exhibits ability to work independently.

+ Good understanding and use of business principles, particularly risk assessment.

+ Demonstrated ability to plan, implement and achieve significant, complex goals and objectives.

+ Strong communication and presentation skills (both verbal and written), including ability to synthesize information for senior management.

+ Excellent planning skills and working knowledge of project management techniques and software.

+ Demonstrated effective leadership, planning, motivational qualities and the Pfizer competencies: holds people accountable, influence, acts decisively and seizes accountability.

+ BS or MS in a Life Science or technical discipline.
