Description:

Prudential's Health & Wellness on-site clinics are staffed by trained medical professionals and provide a variety of health and wellness services to help employees to get and stay healthy. The Health & Wellness Nurse will direct acute nursing care for occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses.

 

The ideal candidate will have experience in emergency response and ability to evaluate clinical signs and symptoms, recognize behaviors affecting work performance, and determine appropriate health care treatment within scope of nursing practice. In addition, this role:

  • Conducts venipunctures and collects specimens for laboratory tests.

  • Prepares and maintains clinical records that meet legal, and departmental requirements and assures confidentiality.

  • Plans, organizes and implements health promotion initiatives, including health education programs, and biometric screenings, to improve individual and organizational health and performance. 


  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Minimum of 5 years nursing experience in occupational or ambulatory care, with 2 years of corporate experience preferred
  • Emergency room background a plus
  • Current Nursing license in New Jersey
  • CPR/AED certification required; ACLS preferred
  • Able to work independently setting day to day work priorities, schedules and use of resources
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, OneDrive, OneNote, etc)
