Fairfax Behavioral Health is a 221 bed licensed bed facility providing psychiatric and dual disorder treatment for adolescents and adults as well as three alternative school programs and CD services in Tacoma, Redmond and Olympia.

We are currently recruiting for a ful ltime Nurse Manager for the Everett Unit.  Everett is a 30 bed unit serving adults.  The Nurse Manager is responsible for managing and directing the activities of patient care in accordance with the established standards of care, mental health practice and facility policy, goals, and objectives. This position contributes to the hospital’s philosophy, objectives, educational and quality improvement efforts, while providing guidance. All Program staff including Program Specialists and R.N.’s are supervised by the Nurse Manager.

 
Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing required, Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Experience: A minimum of one year of charge nurse/leadership experience is preferred. Management experience in a psychiatric health-care facility is also preferred.

Licensure: RN must have license to practice by state board of nursing. Must have a valid driver’s license.

Additional Requirements: CPR (AED) and CPI certification is required within 30 days of employment. Knowledge of Joint Commission/CMS, OSHA, state and federal regulatory requirements. Must pass (80% or higher) medication test as well as demonstrate proficiency in medication administration.
