The Nursing Operations Manager will provide operations and administrative support to clinical staff in a manner consistent with the highest levels of performance and professionalism. They will handle highly confidential information with complete discretion.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Manage Nursing calendars, approve expense reports
  • Interact with individuals at all levels of the organization, supporting in an office management capacity and supporting indirect team
  • BSL point of contact for onboarding of new nursing staff
  • Schedule and set-up resources and technology needed for meetings and events, e.g., conference rooms, catering, WebEx, telepresence
  • Compile and/or integrate information needed to complete reports and documents
  • Review documents to ensure accuracy and quality, and revise as needed
  • Manage office documents in accordance with enterprise records management procedures
  • Answer incoming calls and facilitate handling of requests for information
  • Evaluate calls in terms of importance and use independent judgment to take action
  • Make meeting arrangements and coordinate changes in meeting schedules
  • Independently perform varied administrative duties related to functional areas
  • Greet visiting clients, guests and employees
  • Read incoming mail and triage in priority order, highlighting important items or requests for action
  • Prepare data using excel spreadsheets and pivot tables to enhance operations and nursing department efficiency related to visit confirmations, POT’s, discharges
  • Develop, manage and support department metrics
  • Engage in nursing QA and QA projects to include timely submission of notes, correct submission of notes and clinician visit logs
  • Manage field and office staff time and OT
  • Assist DON to be in compliance with company P/P and AHCA mandates (CEMP, Emergency Planning and infection control
  • Annual skills fair
  • Other duties deemed necessary per DON or GM
Required Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3 or more years of nursing operations experience and/or administrative experience
  • Intermediate or better level of proficiency with MS Office applications, specifically Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Experience coordinating large meetings, including WebEx virtual meetings and teleconferences
Preferred Qualifications:
  • College degree
  • Clinical experience or background
  • Experience with home infusion and/or home health care
Soft Skills:
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks / projects and deadlines simultaneously with attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a large, matrixed corporate environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and grammatical skills
  • Must have a polished demeanor and be comfortable working with people at all levels
