The Vines Hospital, located in Ocala Florida, is a premiere behavioral health facility located in picturesque Marion County offering specialized behavioral health care and services to individuals including specialty programs for active duty military and Veterans.  We offer acute psychiatric, detox, PTSD treatment as well as a residential treatment center for adolescent females.

We currently are looking for a evening Nursing Supervisor to join our team of dedicated Behavioral Health professionals.

The Nursing Supervisor oversees all unit activities and is responsible for the delivery of quality care for all patients on the Acute and Residential units during the evening shift. The Nursing Supervisor is responsible for the staffing, implementation and evaluation of nursing care for psychiatric and chemically dependent patients during their designated shift.

Hours: 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm Monday - Friday

Job Requirements

Education: Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.

Experience: Requires three (3) years experience as a Registered Nurse. Prefer two (2) in psychiatric nursing. One (1) year of nursing supervisory experience required.

License: Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida.  Certification in psychiatric nursing preferred.


  • Demonstrated leadership, communication, teaching, management and computer skills.
  • Must be able to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies or members of the business community. Must be able to effectively present information to top management, public groups and/or board of directors.
  • Knowledge of current nursing procedures, the nursing process, medications and their correct administration.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.  Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
