Job Description

Oversees support staff for the outpatient rehabilitation center. Also performs clerical duties such as scheduling, insurance verifications and registrations.

1) Supervision of physical therapy clerk and techs.

2) Development of front office procedures and protocols.

3) Schedules rehab appointments.

4) Performs patient registration and verification of insurance.

5) Tracks visits, therapy caps, adds KX modifiers, and participates in interdisciplinary team meetings.

Job Requirements

::

High school diploma or GED. 

Medical Office Assistant (MOA) preferred.

Five (5) years of general clerical experience performing related duties/work required.

Previous supervisory experience preferred.

Current CPR certification required.

Continued employment is contingent on successfully maintaining current required certification(s).

Good PC skills.

Ability to deal with other employees and members of the public tactfully and courteously.
