    Job Summary:


    RerReporting to the Food Services Director, the Office Manager is responsible for providing administrative support including planning, organizing, and managing all aspects of our office functions at Memorial University. This is an excellent opportunity for the successful candidate to participate as a mamber of the management team and to facilitate all aspects of office routines and clerical duties in a food services operation.


    Job Duties:

    • Provides administrative support to the Director and the Management team in organizing orders, preparing quotations, and invoices for clients;
    • Respond to all client requests and take ownership of issues, ensuring proper outcomes and solutions.
    • Composing and typing correspondence, including confidential material;
    • Managing outgoing mail and sorting incoming mail daily for distribution to all departments.
    • Maintaining employee records of hours worked, days absent, vacation or other leave, and sick time;
    • Preparing and reconciling sales and bank deposits;
    • Reception duties, including answering the telephone and providing direction to callers;
    • Responsible for submitting accurate and timely Payroll Records;
    • Handling all queries concerning billings and payments from clients;
    • Maintaining a complete set of accounting records for the operation;
    • Assists in the management of purchases and inventory
    • Organizing workflow through the administrative office, including the day to day supervision of junior administrative staff;
    • Ensures proper handling of Company Property
    • Ensures adherence to all of ARAMARK’s Policies and Procedures
    • Ensures adherence to ARAMARK’s Health and Safety Policy
    • Other duties as assigned by management from time to time


    • Completion of a 2-3 year accounting/administrative management diploma, hospitality or food and beverage management program, or equivalent combination of experience and education.
    • Minimum 2+ years’ experience in and office or food service environment
    • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
    • Strong leadership and organizational skills
    • Critical thinking skills and the ability to multi task and work under pressure while still maintaining accuracy, and attention to detail
    • Flexibility to work on weekends/evenings if needed
