Job Description

The OMD Senior Manager is responsible for:

  • Provide internal consulting / project management/team oversight to clients and HR Business Partners by designing, developing and implementing Organization Development, Leadership/Management Development and Career Development interventions as well as serving as a subject matter expert to clients on performance improvement, performance coaching, skill development some of which may include:
    • Global Career Model & Critical Experiences
    • Organizational Surveys (OHS)/People Planning/ Game Planning/Talent Mapping
    • Talent Analytics
    • Partnerships with the HR COEs and HRBPs/Partnerships with PEP U Learning COE
  • Update and implement the Talent Management strategy across a variety of programs, processes and methods. Talent capability programs include Career Frameworks, Critical Experiences, Competencies, People Planning and Talent Analytics.
  • Deliver against the Talent Strategy by providing strategic guidance and direction in support of a number of functional capability programs such as:
    • Manage and support a number of talent management and capability programs which is inclusive of leading project management, developing content, implementing employee communications, user support, and tools/training
    • Lead the creation of programs/mechanisms to measure the success of the OD projects overall impact on the Global Supply, Operations and Strategy functions, as well as, PepsiCo as a whole.
    • Coordinate talent development initiatives (i.e., executive coaching; mentoring; talent acceleration assignments); track & measure progress against these initiatives & collaborate with HR business partners to make recommendations and ensure sustainability
    • Accountable for vendor and supplier relationships for various talent programs
    • Oversee and provide guidance in the continued growth of Talent Analytics capabilities to ensure detailed and data driven people planning as well as smarter talent based decision across the global functions
  • Execute PepsiCos Core People Processes - 360/Hogan, Manager Quality Performance Index (MQPI), Org Surveys, Performance Management - as follows:
    • Accountable for driving regular functional communication strategy for Core Processes
    • Manage and ensure outcomes for the People Planning process which is an essential component of PepsiCos Talent Sustainability strategy where we identify develop and move talent into key development assignments to gain critical experiences and aggressively build bench.
      • Support the development on strong B2+ Bench
      • Enhance the junior talent pipeline to ensure we are preparing long term runway
    • Creates PepsiCo-wide people planning presentations, accurately compiling and synthesizing very sensitive and confidential data and generating insights.
    • Ensures effective and efficient planning and flawless execution of complex, highly visible strategic OMD processes with different stakeholders (Enterprise OMD, Vendors, Employees, HRGs), which feed People Objectives.
    • Oversees and provides guidance on the analysis of PepsiCo-wide Organizational Health survey analysis to be shared with functional leaders, accurately compiling very sensitive and confidential data and generating insights
    • Partners with HRBPs on training and education of core people processes - purpose of processes, their role, how the process works on-line
  • Partners with HRBPs to understand business clients needs and provides value-add actionable solutions, tools and resources to HRBPs and business clients in various Org Management, People Development, Assessment, Org Design, Talent Planning and Performance areas. This role will create or leverage existing tools based on their deep understanding of how various tools can support a particular problem or issue.


  • Strong competency in dealing with ambiguity & learning agility
  • Solid analytical, communication, project management skills
  • Ability to engage with client groups and Senior HR leaders to assess organizational issues and develop appropriate solutionn and to influence & communicate effectively with senior executives
  • Functional Competencies: Organization Development; Career Development & Succession Planning; Org. Capability; Change Leadership & Strategic Business Partnering; HR Administration & Information Systems; Process Consultation; Internal Consulting; Facilitation
  • 5+ years experience in OMD design & execution of core HR processes, management/leadership development, evaluative tools, competency models and strategic HR OMD initiatives
  • Bachelor's degree required, Masters preferred
This role will require:
  • Working in a matrix with a heavy focus on wiring and gaining alignment with both Senior leader clients and HRBPs
  • Collaborating across peers to leverage best practices, share resources, etc.
  • Operating in ambiguity and providing leadership to lower level associates with limited information at times
