Job Details

The Oncology Medical Advisor is responsible for developing and executing the medical plan that supports the strategic operating goals for the oncology and also supports cross-functional projects, and is accountable for his/her medical and scientific initiatives related to oncology products and also will take part in the development and execution of the Cluster III Oncology Medical Team's vision and strategic/operational plans.

**1) Medical Information**

+ Provides accurate, consistent and timely support to Medical Information EMEA upon request on assigned products

+ Provides input for up-date of the medical information database according to Pfizer SOPs

+ Develops and ensures adherence to Medical Information procedures and guidelines

**2) Medical Expertise**

+ Provides medical expertise for the assigned products and therapeutic areas to Product Team and External Customers

+ Searches, collects, disseminates and up-dates scientific information database for assigned product according to BU guidelines

+ Contribute to develop medical leadership including scientific strategy definition, KOL management and defining medical strategy in Market Access

+ Management of Named Patient Programs **3) Support for Therapeutic area**

+ Provides medical input to/at various events/subjects

+ Promotional materials

+ Contributes to opinion Leader's opinion

**4) Education for commercial team**

+ Participates in major events and provides direct support and training on designated products to new starters sales representatives and other relevant Pfizer employees

+ Up-dates and reviews product knowledge of PSRs and other relevant employees

+ Assists other training activities (role-plays, group presentations' training, etc.

+ Coaches the FF for medical issues on request **5) Support for clinical research**

+ Medical input in protocol development, statistic analysis, study management, data management and publication **(** NIS, epidemiological studies)

+ Provides medical expertise for GCP clinical trials feasibility

+ Ensures medical advice and scientific support for Investigator Initiated Research Grant assessment.

+ Plays product advisory role in Clinical Study Team - advises on study sites, provides medical input at the Investigators' Meetings, helps to understand the medical aspects of the protocol **6) Support for regulatory and drug safety**

+ Review of product regulatory documents (SmPC, PIL, SPI)

+ Therapeutical and product knowledge advice for safety officer

**Required Qualification and Skills:**

+ Education - Medicine degree, Medical Specialization in the area (preferred)

+ Experience in Clinical Research/Medical Affairs activities, Experience in conducting clinical research activities (preferred)

+ General knowledge in the relevant Therapeutic Area

+ Knowledge of clinical development processes

+ Fluent knowledge in English and Bulgarian
