**Applications are invited for the position of Operational Excellence Lead at Pfizer - Newbridge**

Pfizer Ireland, Newbridge was established in Co Kildare in 1992. Since then, successive expansions have seen the site grow to one of Europe's largest manufacturers of solid dose pharmaceuticals (tablets and capsules). Today, Newbridge is a centre of excellence for the global and regional supply of established products as well as a manufacturer for new and innovative therapies that are currently in the research and development pipeline.

As a dynamic and energetic Leader of the Operational Excellence team, this person will drive and coordinate the implementation the Operational Excellence Program. This will involve building the OE strategy and aligning it with the site and PGS goals. The successful candidate will possess strong influencing skills and be able to achieve plan milestones by working with area Leads and SMEs in order to enhance business processes. The role involves directly managing, coaching and developing a team of OE Leads to ensure the success of the program.

Fundamental to the role is the achievement of very aggressive goals and putting the systems in place to meet and sustain these goals. A central part of this role is to build CI capability on site by providing guidance for project leaders to meet deliverable. Knowledge of Standard Work, Asset Care, 5S, SMED is required. Additional responsibilities include mentoring lean candidates, running process improvement projects, facilitating Kaizen events and assisting in training. The successful candidate must be able to build and maintain effective relationships with key network stakeholders.

**Do you have these skills, experiences, certifications and education?**

+ Bachelor's degree required in Business Management, Science, Engineering, or other related field of study.

+ Certified Lean and Six Sigma Black Belt, with a minimum 5 years of business operations and/or plant manufacturing or engineering experience, which includes a minimum of 3+ years of demonstrated process improvement success.

+ Solid past performance as a project manager. Strong analytical/statistical problem solving tools. Broad business knowledge and ability to link customer needs with business processes. Strong Coaching and Facilitation skills. Excellent oral/written communication skills and platform skills. An understanding of and proficiency in Change Management. Advanced skills in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MiniTab.
