Operational Excellence Lead responsible for execution and coaching of Lean and Six Sigma projects. **Position Summary**

Situated in Co. Kildare, Pfizer Newbridge is an integral part of the global solid oral dose network; manufacturing tablets and capsules for world markets using highly complex processes. The site has been an established leader in the supply of medicines for over twenty years and is currently expanding its portfolio. The Operational Excellence Team is recruiting for colleagues to work with us at this exciting time for the facility.


As part of the Operational Excellence Team you will support the facility by providing expertise in both Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to help enable the business to deliver on its commitments. Training and mentoring of colleagues in Operational Excellence tools and techniques to enable problem solving across all levels of the organization is fundamental to the role. As a change agent, you will be responsible for promoting new ways of working in order to create an environment that is change agile, helping to drive the creation of a culture of continuous improvement, innovation and learning at all levels within the site. **Qualifications, Experience & Skills :**

+ Six Sigma or Lean Black Belt certified by a recognised third party organisation

+ Primary degree in a Science/Engineering discipline, with a number of years' experience operating at Black Belt level, preferably in a pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical manufacturing operation

+ Demonstrable experience in leading improvement projects of significant size and scope using lean six sigma methodologies, resulting in quantifiable business benefit

+ Strong analytical/statistical problem solving ability, with broad business knowledge and the ability to link customer needs with business processes

+ Experience in training and coaching candidates completing lean and six sigma projects

+ Strong presentation skills, and the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization

+ An understanding of and proficiency in Change Management

+ Good working knowledge of the Pharmaceutical Industry including Operations, Quality, Technical, Supply Chain, Engineering and Regulatory aspects. Good working knowledge of cGMP

Proficient in the use of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MiniTab.
