The Polaris Operational Implementation Analyst will deliver business objectives as part of the transformative, multi-year Polaris initiative. Goals will be accomplished through building collaborative partnerships with key stakeholders and partners.  All aspects of Polaris business activities are included in this project manager/analyst role: Organizational Readiness (change readiness, planning, training, workflow, process & procedure optimization, quality and business rules), Polaris Configuration and Polaris Operations.  This position is on the E&I Strategic Programs Business PMO team. 
This is a combined role: Business Project Manager plus Operational Implementation/Readiness Support Analyst.  Provides day to day operations support to complete activities relating to specific business PMO Organization and Operational Readiness activities. Responsible for the planning, coordination and completion of projects within assigned domains across strategic programs. Delivers presentations to PMO leadership on project updates, project cycle and expected results. Ensures specific tasks are completed on time and in scope.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans (including resource assignments, schedules, dependencies, etc.)
  • Provide input into and/or create supporting documentation (e.g., project plan; presentation materials) for assigned deliverables
  • Ensure that project schedules include all tasks and activities necessary to achieve Operational Readiness and overall assigned project objectives
  • Gather information from business partners regarding plans, status and key issues to be addressed
  • Obtain agreement from applicable stakeholders on schedule, time management and resource plans, and negotiate changes/adjust project plans as needed
  • Ensure that schedule and resource changes are aligned with project scope, objectives, constraints and risks
  • Identify key internal stakeholders needed to identify root cause of problems and/or develop action plans
  • Communicate (e.g., email; verbal; PowerPoint presentations) proposed project plans and impacts to affected stakeholders
  • Provide information, assistance, and/or oversight to facilitate assigned project work
  • Adherence to established risk management approaches to identify, analyze and mitigate project risks/issues in a timely manner
  • Develop, communicate and implement program/project risk/issue management plans and strategies (e.g., mitigation, avoidance, transfer, acceptance)
  • Develop/implement contingency and recovery plans when deliverables/milestones are missed (e.g., identify critical path, document plan for getting back on plan/schedule, Business Continuity Plan, failover planning)
  • Develop/monitor/maintain applicable risk/issue logs (e.g., IRAAD)
  • Analyze and ensure resolution of identified risks and issues, collaborating with and obtaining approvals from applicable stakeholders as needed
  • Communicate project risk/issue events, responses and results to applicable stakeholders (e.g., project team, leadership, business partners)
