Description

Purpose of Position:

Schedules the duties of, daily schedules of fulltime and part-time employees, sets up KRONOS, handles missing punches, works with ESC on time corrections, and works with supervisors on employee daily and weekly staffing.

Job/Task Functions:

The following job/task functions have been identified as the core functions of this position.  However, there are other additional duties that may be associated with this position, which can be assigned by the supervisor or manager. 

·Schedules the duties of part-time/fulltime drivers weekly.

·Assigns drivers to lanes on sale days.

·Primary telephone contact for part-time/fulltime Drivers/Sale Day Drivers relative to work schedules, both establishing the schedule and for call-ins.

·Instructs employees regarding their job schedules and requirements.

·Prepares KRONOS/attendance for part-time and fulltime Drivers/Sale Day Drivers;

·Prepares sale day dispatch packets and daily van schedules and completes weekly attendance report.Disseminates the report to appropriate MAA personnel in a timely manner.

·Informs supervisor of employee related problems and, under direction of supervisor, addresses incidental situations as deemed appropriate.

  • Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor/ Managers.

Qualifications

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

 

Experience:

Prior Auction experience required.

 

Competencies/Skills:

Good interpersonal skills.  Good organizational skills. Good Microsoft Excel, Power Point and Word skills. 

 

Mandatory:

Valid driver’s license.     

 

Physical Demands:

Frequently required to talk and hear.  Occasionally required to reach, handle and finger.  Ability to exert force up to twenty pounds occasionally or up to ten pounds frequently. Vision abilities required include frequent use of near acuity and far acuity, as well as occasional use of depth perception and field of vision.     

 

Work Environment:

Occasionally exposed to weather.  Occasionally exposed mechanical parts hazard.  Moderate noise intensity.
