What we are looking for:

 

The Canyon in Santa Monica is currently seeking a dynamic and talented Director of Outpatient Operations, to manage and direct the operational aspects of the facility including meeting financial targets, stream lining processes, managing staff performance and insuring client satisfaction.  The ideal candidate will possess experience reviewing and analyzing financial results, driving the business to increase profits through marketing and outreach activities and managing staff.

 

Key Responsibilities include:

 

  • Analyzes information from utilization review data and patient usage so as to identify clients suitable to the IOP based on benefit availability.
  • Responsible for marketing the IOP and for the development of a comprehensive business development plan in coordination with the Business Development and Sales Team.
  • Cultivates relationships with Sober Living by touring facilities and insuring that policies and procedures are consistent with those of FRN.
  • Manages revenue and expense budgets and is responsible for monitoring accurate patient billing as well as the accurate collection of co-payments and charges not covered by patient insurance.
Job Requirements

Position Requirements:

 

  • Master’s degree in psychology, social work, or related field required.
  • Drug and alcohol certification a plus
  • Minimum 6 months experience with community outreach, networking and or marketing.
  • Minimum 6 months experience managing clinicians.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in mental health or substance abuse field required.
