Job Description

Outpatient Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)

 

Emerald Coast Behavioral Hospital is an 86 bed inpatient psychiatric hospital and outpatient center in Panama City, Florida with three satellite outpatient centers located throughout the Florida Panhandle: Blue Springs Outpatient Center in Marianna, Okaloosa Outpatient Center in Fort Walton Beach, and Parkhill Outpatient Center in Tallahassee.  Our specialized multidisciplinary treatment services are provided by highly trained psychiatrists, therapists, addiction counselors, nurses, and activities therapists.

                                                                                     

Emerald Coast Behavioral Outpatient Center offers structured outpatient programs for individuals experiencing mental health and/or chemical dependency problems.  

 

The Outpatient LCSW / LMHC provides for the delivery and documentation of age/population specific psychotherapy and social services.  Assists family members and referral sources with continuum of care from the admission process through discharge planning. 

 

Essential Job Duties:

  • Provides clinically sound individual, family, and group therapies within required time frames and establish therapeutic relationships with patients and families.
  • Conduct psychosocial assessments Complete psychosocial assessment appropriate to patient type and reason for referral to assist team in development of a care plan

  • Actively participate in treatment team decisions

  • Provide quality documentation

Job Requirements

Job Requirements:

  • Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or other Human Service field.
  • Six (6) months behavioral health experience preferred
  • Current FL LCSW or LMHC
  • Team Approach
