Well look no further, as here at PepsiCo we’re looking for a Packaging Specialist to join the team based at our manufacturing site in Lincoln.

Lincoln is famous for its production of tasty snack brands such as Quavers and Snaps. It’s been part of the PepsiCo family for nearly 80 years and is the Lean reference site for Snacks production in Europe. The site went through a major upgrade in 2013 and is now home to our state of the art ‘packaging hall of the future’, making it the perfect setting for a passionate, experienced specialist to come in and help drive our long term sustainability.

The Job
The Packaging Specialist role is really varied. You’ll not only lead the delivery and execution of QCDM Packaging plan, you’ll also lead people agenda too - setting standards across the packing hall and making sure we have the right capability in the right places…all the while ensuring optimal machine performance.

You’ll need to have a high level of technical knowledge when it comes to packaging equipment as will be the ‘go to’ person for all technical and performance related issues. In addition, a good understanding of Lean manufacturing principals is a must as it’ll be your responsibility to drive continuous performance and manage change effectively.

Strong coaching and development skills are also essential in this role as you’ll own all training for colleagues and new starters. We’re looking for someone who can build great relationships and influence at every level and who has a genuine passion for developing others
