What You'll Do

The Global Paid Search Strategist is a key creative member of Cisco’s media transformation team. You will be instrumental building a global search strategy and advancing the way Cisco goes to market. You will set the tone for how SEM and SEO works together. You will work with the most advanced tech stack in the marketplace and utilize holistic customer data to build your strategy. You will report to the Senior Director, Global Media.

We're responsible for brand strategy, governance, and experience, advertising, media, global sponsorships, and the Cisco Store.

About You

You have 10+ years of experience in developing paid search strategies for global brands (B2B or B2C). You probably worked at agencies early in your career and have moved to an in-house position. You utilize the best AdTech and MarTech tools. You are passionate about innovation and you love to use automation to streamline processes.

You use your expert knowledge of Pay-per-click campaign management for brand and non-brand campaign development. You have working knowledge of Google AdWords and Bing Ads platforms as well as platform management programs (i.e. Doubleclick Search, Marin Software, Kenshoo). You know all the best practices and have an established partnership with main players such as Google.

Additional skills and experience are:
* You know how to leverage partnerships and collaboration to get the best results.
* You feel comfortable leading global teams with varied strengths and experience
* You can design and activate through extended team a global strategy for paid search in alignment with overall marketing strategy;
* You can maximize partnership with agencies to drive incremental value for Cisco.
* You possess a highly analytical mindset, with the ability to interpret performance data, analyze campaign goals, and make adjustments to key performance drivers.
* You are good communicator and collaborator and can navigate the complexities of a large organization.
* You have global experience and understand markets such as Japan, China, and India.
