within guidelines; communicating with clients, courts and outside counsel; attending hearings, depositions and trials; and coordinating real estate

closings, trademark prosecutions and renewals.

Compiles and maintains records of documentation required for legal matters and projects by recommending and implementing process changes to

increase efficiency; and maintaining electronic and physical files of various legal matters.

Conducts investigations in area of responsibility by interviewing appropriate parties (for example, home office associates, facility personnel) to

determine relevant facts and documents regarding legal matters; evaluating internal and external files; and using legal and factual analysis to

troubleshoot key legal issues that may impact the company.

Conducts quality control and monitors compliance by auditing, maintaining and approving performance standards (for example, outside counsel

guidelines, due-diligence policy) and documents; auditing data integrity within internal data systems; monitoring deadlines (for example, contractual,

statutory, court imposed) to ensure legal compliance; working with clients to finalize legal postings; and researching and reconciling invoices

submitted for payment.

Demonstrates up-to-date expertise in legal knowledge and support and applies this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans

by providing expert advice and guidance to others in the application of information and best practices; supporting and aligning efforts to meet

customer and business needs; and building commitment for perspectives and rationales.

Responds to incoming requests on legal matters and projects by collaborating with attorneys, clients, and outside counsel; reviewing files to analyze

potential risk to company; determining if discovery requests meet legal requirements; determining the scope and type of documents to produce in

response to discovery; determining scope of investigations; and following progression of proposed bills and regulations to determine impact on


Provides and supports the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders; identifying business

needs; determining and carrying out necessary processes and practices; monitoring progress and results; recognizing and capitalizing on

improvement opportunities; and adapting to competing demands, organizational changes, and new responsibilities.

Models compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company standards of ethics and integrity by incorporating these into the

development and implementation of business plans; using the Open Door Policy; and demonstrating and assisting others with how to apply these in

executing business processes and practicesMinimum Qualifications:Paralegal diploma approved by American Bar Association OR Bachelors degree in any subject and 1 year experience working in a legal
