What You’ll Do

You will lead the service delivery experience to the partner being single point of ownership and accountability for all Cisco service delivery related activities.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Set the partner services delivery strategy for targeted partners by developing and executing a plan to optimize partner delivery capabilities and improve operational excellence.
  • Drive integration of Cisco services into partner services portfolio through delivery & technical enablement.
  • Explore integration of Cisco Services Intellectual Property into partner service delivery models.
  • Maximize partner loyalty and satisfaction with key partner stakeholders by driving value in service delivery.
  • Capture and articulate value with key stakeholders (e.g. QBR/JBR).
  • Implement industry leading practices (e.g. ITIL Incident Management) around service delivery.
  • Measure relevant key performance indicators (e.g. SLAs, availability).
  • Adopt and leverage Cisco best practices around tools, automation, workflows, and process to ensure successful delivery to partner - standardize and replicate where appropriate.
  • Successfully engage and manage partner capabilities and resources as part of the partner experience. Strategy:
  • Shape multi-year services strategy, in conjunction with sales and partner leadership.
  • Be at the table with channel sales theatre teams to position services value messages regularly
  • Develop partner delivery strategy in alignment with services strategy
  • Drive services revenue growth through sales pursuits aligned with account plan.
  • Manage partner services portfolio into EMEAR aligned to corporate strategy
  • Align to local Technical Services segment lead & team strategy to address channel sales needs
  • Apply Cisco solutions to partner's business drivers.
  • Influence and challenge the partner's thinking to develop better solutions to business and IT objectives.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key partners’ most senior executives and decision makers –ability to directly influence decisions.
  • Influence and work with partner procurement - understand process, commercial terms, etc.
  • Champion partner requirements and needs into Cisco - engineering, quality, roadmaps, service offer development, etc.
  • Innovate around delivery process, engagement models, business management, and partner intimacy - demonstrate improvement in business execution and be seen as a go to resource in helping shape portfolio and technology direction.
  • Mentor new PDEs around delivery of operational excellence to partner.

Who You Are

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Experience in selling Infrastructure Software, Systems Management Software, Mobility, Security software. Experience in driving adoption and utilization of software.
  • College Degree (Bachelor, Masters) - technical or business related
  • Technical & Business certifications (e.g. ITIL, PMP)
  • 10+years relevant industry related experience
  • Fluency in either German or French language.

  • Knowledge, insight and understanding of business concepts, tools and processes for making sound decisions.
  • Relationship Management. Demonstrated focus on building and managing key partner and Cisco relationships to help drive greater partner intimacy and business alignment.
  • Experience developing an overall services strategy aligned to partner outcomes and needs.
  • Experience achieving Operational Excellence in service delivery execution and management of account level profitability.
  • Experience building and developing teams that continue to drive high quality partner execution.
  • Proven experience in a software centric environment.
