What You'll Do

You will work in close alignment with the local Commercial sales team, the Country Marketing Lead in Norway and the broader partner marketing/North Marketing team.

You will be responsible for driving the commercial marketing campaign engine to - and through our partner community in Norway. The ability to marketing enable and build loyalty is of key importance in the role. The main focus of the role is targeting small and medium businesses through co-marketing execution with our partners to drive the right impact and revenue growth in the commercial business segment.

You will ensure that the commercial marketing execution is aligned to local business priorities in Norway and is built on North, EMEAR and Global marketing priorities.

You will be accountable to deliver the commercial partner co-marketing execution and results for Norway, with set goals for the year.

Key responsibilities with reference to the above includes:

  • Executing on Cisco´s partner marketing strategy in Norway.
  • Driving commercial co-marketing demand generation campaigns to and through our partner/distribution community, in close alignment with commercial sales priorities in Norway. The co-marketing plan needs to be an integrated part of the business plan, with very strong focus on digital marketing execution.
  • Being a trusted advisor amongst our partner marketing community.
  • Strive to deliver excellent ROI on commercial co-marketing activities according to agreed revenue marketing goals, based on yearly sales qualified lead and marketing sourced booking targets for the country.
  • Manage partner co-marketing funds. Ensure that budgets are leveraged to greatest ROI impact and spent compliantly.
  • Perform marketing operations related processes and administrative tasks based on set timelines with a high focus on compliance.
  • Strive for best practice to execute best in class co-marketing campaigns.

Who You Are

Required skills, experience and approach:

  • You have a strong interest in technology and preferably B2B marketing experience from the IT sector specifically. Knowledge about Cisco’s solutions is preferred, but not a requirement.
  • Wide and proven knowledge of the marketing mix including very strong digital and social marketing skills and therefore able to consult and advice partners and sales on marketing strategy and execution approach.
  • You are able to manage multiple projects and align with country, regional and global objectives across sales and marketing.
  • Experience in co-marketing, marketing enablement and developing strong relations with partners.
  • You bring excellent communication and interpersonal skills (written and verbal) both in Norwegian and English.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • You are able to collaborate, contribute and manage in a cross-functional, high phased environment.
  • TEAM player as well as able to act independently to pursue goals.
  • You are able to filter information and focus – What, when and why.
  • Good overall understanding of the technology industry in Norway.
  • You are results orientated and understand the importance of tracking marketing Return on Investment to drive business results, preferably with experience in this area.
  • Ability to come up with creative ideas and share best practices.
  • Attention to detail in order to manage budgets, complex processes and administrative work (analytical/numbers skills).
  • Self-learner with a can-do attitude.
  • Requires Marketing Diploma or equivalent, plus 5+ years related experience.
