What You'll Do

Relationship Management at the executive, senior management and practice levels; 
This role requires senior level relationship building, effective communication and presentation skills as well as an intimate knowledge of Cisco's services offerings and channel partner environment. 
• Develop and maintain partner relationships at all levels with a focus on generating new business opportunities 
• Align relationships at the executive levels and facilitate the interlock between partner resources and Cisco counterparts to drive growth
• Advocate Partner inclusion in working groups like SPAB, CPEE, SPEE, CCAB, POAB, etc. where new programs and offers are unveiled for consideration and feedback 
• Complex Partner business development focused on practice level creation and acceleration;
• Execute onsite consultative workshops (leveraging a consistent methodology) focused on partner's macro business level initiatives and practice specific development that result in tighter integration between the partner and Cisco 
• Collaborate with partners on execution of key business development priorities as jointly defined with the partner 
• Provide subject matter expertise, leading practices and training plans for Services programs and offers that may be mutually beneficial to Cisco and the partner
• Advocate partners capabilities to internal Cisco services, sales, business units and customers both inside and outside of Cisco in an effort to raise awareness of partner coverage and capacity
• Build joint business plans with the partner to capture new market opportunities that maximum revenue share and margin 
• Optimizing the partner's mainstream Cisco Services business leveraging the existing base to develop new revenue opportunities 
• Apply leading practice to drive acceleration and performance of partner business fundamentals for Service attach and renew to maximize revenue
• Create joint business plans including leveraging technology refresh and product/service EOS/EOL to drive new revenue opportunities from their existing base of business 
• Facilitate and monitor implementation of operational and business process changes within the partner to ensure productivity
• Accelerate Partner self-sufficiency via process improvements, tools awareness/training, and development of repeatable methodology

Who You'll Work With
This Partner Services Development Manager (PSDM) team will report to the Latam Manager of Partner Service Sales and will support partners in Colombia. 
This business centers around partner practice development, focuses on service offerings for new and growing phases of the lifecycle, engages partners to define new service capabilities and capacity for new technologies and services as well as improving existing services. 

Who You Are
10+ Years working in a Channel Partner role with senior level exposure
Required Competencies: 
• Strategic Business Planning: Demonstrating significant knowledge of Cisco and the industry; developing strategies that leverage core strengths of ones own group and Cisco.
• Business and Financial Acumen: Understanding basic business mathematics, financial strategies, and performance indicators, and applying that knowledge to client's economic and buying environment. 
• Building Influential Relationships: Working collaboratively with customers, channel partners, and account team members to meet business goals and objectives; using appropriate communication methods to influence others and establish relationships
• Negotiation: Effectively exploring interests and options to reach outcomes that gain the agreement and acceptance of all parties by using legitimate data, objective criteria to support ones proposal. 
• Project Management Skills - Developing project plans and revising them as needed in response to obstacles; identifying and marshaling resources to implement plans; managing, monitoring, and communicating progress and parameters to team members and stakeholders.
• Goal Alignment: Creating a line of sight between own and other's objectives and those of the business unit as driven by strategy, maintain consistency between individual and organizational goals, and realign goals in response to the changing realities of the marketplace and the competitive landscape.
