Keystone Center is seeking a Patient Representative/Biller.   Keystone Center is located in Delaware County, PA.  Keystone Center offers substance use disorder and dual diagnosis treatment for adults.  We are located five miles south of the Philadelphia Airport, making our facility an easy location to travel to and from.

The Patient Account Representative/Biller under the supervision of the Patient Account Director, the person is responsible for tracking of all account receivable currently in house or out-patient and keeping the Patient Account Director informed of problem accounts in a timely manner.

 

Job Requirements

JOB SUMMARY:  Under the supervision of the Patient Account Director, the person is responsible for tracking of all account receivable currently in house or out-patient and keeping the Patient Account Director informed of problem accounts in a timely manner.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:  To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to demonstrate competency in the criteria listed in this job description. The specifications listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and ability to meet the minimum requirements for this position.

Education:                         High School Graduate with emphasis in accounting/bookkeeping.

Experience:                       Three to five years of experience in billing (preferably in the health care field); computer experience desired with good and written communication skills.

 

Licensure/Certification:  None

 

Knowledge:                       Basic accounting knowledge is required; high school accounting courses acceptable.

Environmental Conditions:  Works in a well-lighted and ventilated office area.  Subject to frequent interruptions; involved with patients and personnel under varying conditions and circumstances.   

 

Physical Requirements:  Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.  Manual dexterity for typing and to access filing systems.  Push, pull and lift up to 40 pounds. Intermittent sitting, standing, walking, bending and stooping. Drug and alcohol free as evidenced by negative results of post-offer, pre-employment urine drug screen.
